Tree and Plaque in Danny's Honour

A birch tree, Betula utilis, has been planted and a plaque placed in honour of Danny adjacent to the Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire, DE13 7AR, U.K.

The Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness is the only place of worship to have been dedicated in the United Kingdom in the Millennium Year 2000. It is also the only place in the United Kingdom where the Act of Remembrance of Last Post, Silence and Reveille is observed daily, at 11am.

Birch was used in the production of high quality charcoal, a constituent of the superior black gunpowder used in the guns of the Royal Artillery.
